Heart Rate

Measure your pulse by resting a fingertip over your phone’s rear camera. The camera flash lights the skin, and the app reads the tiny brightness changes caused by each heartbeat.

This browser does not support camera access via getUserMedia().

What to expect

  1. Allow access to the rear camera. The flash will switch on.
  2. Cover the camera and flash with your fingertip.
  3. When the preview turns red, press Start.
  4. Rest still for 30 seconds.

This feature estimates heart rate from optical changes detected by your smartphone camera. It is intended for wellness and research purposes and is not a medical diagnosis. Do not use it to make health decisions.
